This is the talk I gave at WordCamp Griñón 2024, about Plugin Check Plugin the tool for WordPress Plugin developers.

Last weekend I was at WordCamp Griñón, an official WordPress event, where professionals, agencies and companies in the digital world, marketing and hosting share experiences, knowledge and establish collaborations.

Many topics were touched, I really liked the talk on Email Marketing by Marina Febles, and how we are losing money if we don’t use automated email flows with online stores.

Miguel Mart’s and affiliates as a resource for generating sales. He recommended commissions of 10-15% for physical stores.

From Miguel Sanz we learned what not to do in ecommerce to avoid losing sales opportunities. Prioritize improvements in this order: Checkout, Product, listings, search engine, Home and Reviews, us, because and shipping.

From Pablo Moratinos, how to take into account different factors, not only the sale, to consider products with greater opportunities.

And from Víctor Sáenz, the difficulties that a store brings to maintain the rhythm of sales of a million euros a month.

Saluting friends of the community as Fede Padilla,Pablo Moratinos, Fernando Puente, Paula Carmona, Paco Marchante, Jose Ramon Padron Garcia, Miguel Angel Perez, and many more that I leave behind…

I also had the opportunity to give a talk on “Contributing to WordPress by reviewing Plugins”. Thanks to Hostinger for sponsoring my time to the community. It is making it possible to contribute progress on reviewing important WordPress Plugins.

Thanks for the photos to Nilo Velez and Paco Marchante.

#wordpress #wordcamp #wcgriñon #marketing
